ZOO stands for Zone Of Occupancy, the area from the floor to six feet up, the space where most people live and work. ZOO Fans is a subsidiary product offering of DuctSox Corporation, headquartered in Dubuque, Iowa; manufacturer of custom engineered commercial and industrial air dispersion products for open ceiling architecture, critical environments, and underfloor applications.
History
During the 1980’s the company known today as DuctSox developed an air dispersion product that would provide more precise and efficient air control than achievable from metal systems. The solution was fabric.
DuctSox fabric ductwork systems have become well established in the HVAC industry. Since ZOO Fans' union with the DuctSox brand, the capabilities of air dispersion and environmental control continues to evolve.
Innovation
ZOO Fans’ commitment to quality, service, and innovation has led to the expansion of traditional air dispersion offerings to gently deliver conditioned air from the ceiling to the floor, in spaces from 8ft to 100ft+ high, open ceilings and drop ceilings.
